Lisa Isaac, Ph.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist and the founder of MedPsych Resources. Dr. Isaac has 27 years of experience providing psychological services for individuals with a broad range of medical problems. She coordinated and administered Psychology Services in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department of a major university teaching hospital. Dr. Isaac founded and directed a Behavioral Medicine Division at a community hospital. She designed and initiated Psychology Services for Occupational Medicine for a large health maintenance organization (HMO). Dr. Isaac created a continuum of psychological services for patients undergoing Bariatric Surgery. She was a member of the Ethics Committee of the California Psychological Association and an expert reviewer for the California Board of Psychology.
Over the past 16 years, Dr. Isaac has developed an array of medical psychology services for treating chronic pain and disability, assessing surgical readiness, and conducting medical-legal evaluations.
